Geoffrey was formerly head chef at Etain, Sir Terence Conran’s first destination restaurant outside London. Now as chef proprietor he and his team in the kitchen focus on delivering modern cooking based on the finest local and seasonal ingredients. Geoffrey was named Scottish Chef of the Year 2010 and the Peat Inn has also been awarded Restaurant of the Year 2010.

Forgans is set in what was an old golf club factory. Diners can enjoy a meal seated in one of the restaurant’s distinctive private bothies or in the main atrium. The menu has been designed to highlight the best in local food and drink, with an excellent selection of meat and fish dishes that combine more traditional elements with the odd unusual twist. Not one for vegetarians but steak-lovers will be sure to enjoy the extensive options on offer in the grill section of the menu. The restaurant prides itself on its sustainable approach to sourcing quality produce and is a member of the Sustainable Restaurant Association.

The kitchen team at The Räv counts chefs experienced in working at Michelin-starred restaurants including Hedone, The Greenhouse and The Aubergine (where Gordon Ramsay first made his mark!). Their all-day menus offer contemporary European dishes presented with a Scottish and Nordic influence. Using seasonal ingredients from across the breadth of Fife as well as those native to the Nordics, with a particular emphasis on Scottish game meat & fresh fish and seafood. At the bar, expect a range of speciality cocktails and Nordic spirits such as Aquavit, alongside wide whisky selections. The interior has been designed by Keane Branding (who has worked for sites including MNKE HSE in Mayfair, and Sky By The Water). The decor embraces the original brickwork of the 19th century building and emphasises the vaulted ceilings while introducing touches of organic Nordic design. The restaurant and bar are set over two floors, with circa 45 covers and outside seating in the summer.

The Adamson menu has been inspired by classic brasserie cooking with a contemporary twist and a strong seasonal influence. Their food is complimented by a well-balanced selection of quality wines, spirits and cocktails. The brasserie is located in the Old Post Office which has been transformed with interesting art pieces and a contemporary finish. They have recently opened a cocktail bar attached to the restaurant and a healthy ‘food all day’ café next door, called Next Door!

The Central Bar is a cozy pub that serves a range of cask ales and an extensive wine list. It offers great “pub food” such as fish and chips, burgers and traditional bangers and mash, as well as a range of sandwiches and jacket potatoes.

Formerly the West Port, this bar provides a mixture of traditional and contemporary dishes prepared from local ingredients where possible. There is a great choice of draught beers, wines and a cocktail list. The bar also sports a large beer garden.
