Hotel of the Month – November 2020 – The Chester Hotel, Aberdeen

This month, we turn the spotlight onto the Chester Hotel in Aberdeen, a small, privately owned hotel, located in the fashionable West End of the City. This stylish hotel is being continuously enhanced and recently extended next door to add a further 21 sophisticated yet comfortable bedrooms. Many of the original features of these listed buildings remain, mixing the contemporary with tradition, such as ornate staircases and cornicing dating back to 1800s, but the décor is modern and bursting with life.

The public areas are chic with the cosy-cool Gallery Bar and its Garden Room which can only be described as a modern day palm court, whist the bedrooms are spacious and luxurious.

The Chester is an excellent base for playing some of the Aberdeenshire courses such as Royal Aberdeen, Trump International and Cruden Bay and it is only a 15 minutes drive from Aberdeen Airport, making a visit here the perfect option for a short break or a good starting/ ending location for a larger itinerary!
